8th Annual Earth Day Charles River Clean Up
Celebrate Earth Day with over 1,200 people picking up trash and cleaning the riverbank on the Charles River! Saturday, April 21, 2007, 9am-12pm.
The Cleanup is the largest Earth Day event in Boston, involving
over 1,500 volunteers helping to beautify the Charles River, picking up
trash and cleaning the riverbanks at over 40 sites from Dover to Boston.
Bring a group (frat/sorority/team/club/floormates/friends) to pick up trash and clean the riverbanks.
Enjoy your friends, meet new friends, and celebrate your community.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help at sites around Boston. We provide all of the supplies and instructions to make the cleanup a success - trash bags, gloves, and a t-shirt for each participant.
