MASSPIRG Staff
Abe Scarr is the Organizing Director for the MASSPIRG Student Chapters, overseeing the staff and program work on MASSPIRG’s seventeen campus chapters. Abe has been working with the Student PIRGs since 2003, when he started as Campus Organizer at Salem State College and North Shore Community College. Since then, Abe worked with students to establish new PIRG chapters in Wisconsin and Michigan, trained thousands of student government leaders as Project Director of the Student Empowerment Training Project, and oversaw the student media project, the National Student News Service. Abe graduated from Haverford College in 2002 with a degree in Philosophy.
