MASSPIRG intern Nikolai Blinow, editor of the Salem Log Benjamin Navon, and Student Government Senator Andrea Kilroe attended a hearing in Washington DC last week to ask the federal government to alleviate the increasing burden of student debt. All three travelled to the capital to speak at a hearing organized by the Department of Education, asking the agency to commit to making loan repayment programs more manageable, especially for student going into lower-income careers.
