Students lobbied Senator Downing and Representative Bosley, asking them to sign on in support of an updated Bottle Bill, which is currently debated in state legislature
Presented Bosley’s assistant with a petition of 91 signatures and information about the updated version of the Bottle Bill, waiting to hear response from Bosley
With the help of Berkshire Community College students, convinced Downing to sign on in support of the updated Bottle Bill
Increased awareness around Special Election for Senator Kennedy’s seat
Helped 42 students register to vote in North Adams
Collected 90 petition signatures signifying that students plan to have a voice and vote in the election, will send to all candidates
Completed approximately 25 class presentations about voting in the special election

Collected 62 profiles of students to go into the National Student Debt Yearbook
Profiles include name, expected debt, photo, and optional opinion section
Student Debt Yearbook, with profiles of over a thousand students across the nation, will go to Higher Education leaders in National Congress, asking for their support of SAFRA, the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility
