Student will compete on teams of three to raise money for needy people.

Hoops will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the Tripp Athletic Center basketball courts.
Currently, 26 teams — each with three Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group students — hav registered to take part.

Members of the local legislative delegation has also been invited to take part in the competition.
