•P.R. Chair Ahamad asked for three-five people to join his newly
created committee bases around promoting SGA through slogans,
catchphrases, and theatrics.
•Trustee Richards discusses March Madness and some of the evnts that
SGA is sponsoring, including: a viewing of "Valley of Elah," a bonfire,
Brown bag bingo night, Milkshakes at dinner through Aramark, cricus
amok with the bearded woman, midnight skating, RPS spaghetti dinner,
faculty vs. student basketball game, and Mass PIRG voter registration.
Be sure to look for time and places for these events.
•Richards also added that degen was on-board with some of the
recommendations that SGA's START had come up with, and next they were
heading to the retention task force.
•
Advisor Norcorss discussed the BHE leadership conference, where she's
aksing for five-eight senators to attend to meet all the toehr stat
school leaders and political speakers.
•
Parliamentarian Clovie discussed the board's decision to allow Senator
Kelsy's appeal to pass, but the next Senate meeting would meet to
discuss and vote on Kelsy's impeachment.
•Treasurer LaChapelle asked the Senate to pass the 2008-2009 Budget
Finance Committee's final allotment of money to clubs and
organizations, which quickly was voted on and passed.
•Mass PIRG announced that Senator Downing was now officaially their
champion for the Global Warming Solutions Act. Also, they are hoping to
get volunteers for the 24th annual Hunger Cleanup.
