Dill of Dracut, a freshman at Middlesex Community College, was recently
elected State Board Vice Chair of MASSPIRG by student leaders from
different chapters across the state.
MASSPIRG is an advocate for the public interest, whose mission
is to deliver persistent, result-oriented public interest activism that
protects consumers, encourages a fair, sustainable economy, and fosters
responsive, democratic government.
With a strong network of researchers, advocates, organizers
and students across the state, MASSPIRG works on consumer issues, such
as hunger and homelessness, global warming, clean energy, affordable
prescription drugs, and voting rights. Middlesex offers students the
opportunity to participate in Service-Learning projects with MASSPIRG.
Dill's duties include working with all state chapters on
statewide campaigns, funding, campaign strategies and media outreach.
At Middlesex, he is majoring in political science and psychology.
