October 24th is International Day of Climate Action. Over 2,000 events and actions in approximately 152 countries will be taking place on this day. Many of these events will incorporate the number 350 - or the number, in parts per millions, of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that leading scientists believe is safe. Currently, our world is at 387 parts per million and rising, meaning we need to take action fast!
Here in the greater Boston Area, a multitude of events are happening. The list below, although not exhaustive, is a great place to get started!
