We have a strong chapter here at Fitchburg State. We have always been a pugnacious crew and we have always done a TON of great stuff.
Global Warming Solutions
On December 5th, 2009 we met with other student PIRGs of Massachusetts at UMass, Boston to show support for Senator Kerry and Marquee as they head to Copenhagen to discuss legislation on Global Warming Solutions.

Zero Waste
Collected 70 hand written student letters to Representative Stephen DiNatale urging him to update the Bottle Bill. The Bottle Bill was passed in 1983 so people could get deposits on various beverage bottles. We are trying to update the bill so people can get deposits on Gatorade bottles and water bottles.
Hunger and Homelessness
Worked together with other organizations on campus to help raise money, collect food, and get presents for families in the Fitchburg area. We made sure everyone would have a Happy Holiday!
